CardiacCare nurses are the master coordinators of the unit, juggling care for theirpatients while keeping the entire health care team on the same page. They havehigh-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and are able tostay calm under pressure.

About this unit:

• 6 licensed bed Cardiac Care Unit and would float to 53licensed bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit

• Typical length of stay 1-2 days

• RN to patient ratio 1:2/3

• Common diagnosis: cath lab recovery/next day discharge (procedures: SVT Ablations, Watchman procedures, chest pain, Open Hea
