Job Summary:
  • You will have oversightfor Behavioral Health quality and patient safety aspects for all programs(inpatient and outpatient).
  • Your role initiatesand facilitates coordination of Behavioral Health quality, regulatory andperformance improvement activities
  • You will performongoing medical record review timely and accurately with identification ofimprovement strategies.
  • You will conduct RootCause Analysis (RCA) and Serious Event Analysis (SEA) when indicated andreports to appropriate entities (i.e. corporate, PSO and regulatory bodies).
  • Your role facilitiesBehavioral Health workgroup and Behavioral Health Quality Committee includingcommittee activities and follow up.
  • Your role coordinatesdata abstraction, reporting and analysis of Behavioral Health quality data andHBIPS metrics.
  • You willparticipate in active rounding on all Behavioral Health campuses/departments toobserve practices, perform gap assessments, provide in-time education andadvise leadership, staff, medical staff and other professionals.
  • Your roleprovides ongoing monitoring for patient safety aspects to identify gaps includingdaily safety huddles and communication of findings.
  • Your role assistsin the coordination of the Behavioral Health Infection Prevention program withMarket Director Infection Prevention.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of anAccredited School of Nursing, Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current TNRN licensure or Compact Licensure in State of Residence.
  • Experience: 2 years of clinicalexperience required with at least two years of quality experience preferred.
