Schools Mutual Services, partnered with the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust, are seeking to employ a Secondary Learning Support Assistant for day to day and long term cover within the SEND department of a Washington secondary school.
The Role
Working as part of a successful, energetic and friendly team, the successful applicants will be responsible for supporting across the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 National Curriculum.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for a position within one of our schools, you must:
* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* Have experience working with children in an education setting
* Be able to adapt to different routines daily
* Be able to give educational references and hold the right to work within the UK
* Hold a current update registered DBS or willing to undertake a DBS application
Schools Mutual Services are registered with APSCo who are the leading education safeguarding compliance body. Upon registration, a thorough interview procedure takes place where you are expected to give accurate information and explain any gaps of employment. For safeguarding procedures, we require your references to be satisfactory and for DBS purposes, any convictions declared.
